Exciting is a perfect word to describe it Lindsay! It's a rush, like a roller coaster of emotions (and we all know roller coasters don't end at their peak). It mirrors what shrinks would diagnose as bi-polar, only there's no pill for weaning you off the addiction you get to experiencing the manic episodes (i.e. romantic encounters). Because of that, "friends with benefits" typically leads to a void of both benefits and friendship in the end.

What an awesome subject! I totally agree... Relationships on the "down low" always seem exciting but they ALWAYS end in heartache!
